Rules of the ride
We encourage our members to sign-up in advance to our club rides using the our Spond app.

This is a great help to our ride leaders and important for our records.

Don't let this put you off just turning up on the day - we can still make it work.

Please read our 'Ride Risk Assessment'. You may also find these Group Riding Tips helpful.
If you are not a member we are delighted to offer two complimentary rides before we ask you to join the club. Ideally contact our membership secretary beforehand (even the night before is fine) to confirm essential details. If you prefer to just turn up then be sure to introduce yourself to a member and provide the ride leader with your name and contact details before setting off.
In order to maintain our Ride Leader insurance cover we do need you to join the club after two rides. We also require all members to have their own individual third party liability insurance cover through membership of British Cycling, Cycling UK or British Triathlon.
If you are new to the area, or just joining us whilst here on holiday, please think about joining a group one step down from your normal ride, especially if you come from a relatively flat part of the country. Cornwall is very LUMPY!
Rides average about 750ft every 10 miles, and occasionally 1,000ft every 10 miles. So a 30 mile ride might have over 3,000+ft of climbing in it!! That tracks at 150m every 10K and sometimes c.200m/10K. Looking at a 50K ride with anything from 750m to 1000m of ascent.
We have a 'no drop' policy, so you will always be with the group! On Sunday rides we aim to return to base about 12.30-1.00pm so you have time for a coffee, or a light lunch at the Wild Vibes Cafe inside Stithians Watersports Centre, or just head off to enjoy the afternoon.

Remember "no helmet" = "no ride".
We look forward to seeing you.
